Introduction

Forethink is built around the idea that your data should stay with you, the rightful data owner. While we ask for broad access to your digital services, you retain control of the data that flows to your Forethink service. What information we do collect is used to improve the application and maintain secure access to user accounts. We do not share or sell your data with outside parties. This notice describes the personal data we collect, how it’s used, and your choices regarding this data. While the Forethink browser extension does ask for access to third party services, that information is not collected; the only data that Forethink collects is usage statistics on features (regardless of how they were used), and identifying information to create accounts.

Revisions to this Privacy Policy

Any information that is collected via our Services is covered by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we’ll notify you of those changes by posting them on the Services or by sending you an email or other notification, and we’ll update the “Last Updated Date” above to indicate when those changes will become effective.

This policy applies to Forethink, a Delaware, USA, corporation (collectively, “Forethink,” or “we,” “us,” “our.”). The stated policies are put in place for Users of Forethink software and services.

Third-Party Service Connection

Our Service allows you to connect various third-party services (“Third-Party Services”). When you connect a Third-Party Service and grant us permission to access your account, we never request or receive your log-in credentials for that Third-Party Service. We use the OAuth authorization protocol to request a token from the Third-Party Service; the token then gives us access to your account to the extent authorized by you and permitted by that Third-Party Service.

Use and Disclosure of Personal Information

Forethink will not sell or rent to any third party any of the personal information or data that you provide to us. Forethink uses the Personal Information you provide in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. Forethink may use Personal Information provided to operate, improve upon, and personalize the Service, for billing identification and authentication, to contact and communicate with you about the Service and your use of the Service, to support use of the Service, to send marketing materials (subject to your opt-out option), for research purposes, and to generally improve the content and functionality of the Service. We may also combine your Personal Information with third-party analytics information to build a broader profile of our individual Users so that we can serve you better and provide custom, personalized content and information. Additionally, we may use the Personal Information we collect for identification and authentication and fraud prevention, to analyze Sites usage and improve the Service, for internal market research, troubleshooting problems, to enforce our Terms of Service, and as otherwise set forth in this Policy. Note that we will never email you to ask for your account information; if you receive such an email, please forward it to help@forethink.ai.

Use and Disclosure of Information with Artificial Intelligence Models

Forethink will not use any Personal Information to train or otherwise improve the performance of any artificial intelligence models ("AI models", or "AI"), either for Forethink directly or a Third-Party Service without your explicit consent. For the purposes of training AI models, Forethink reserves the right to use Personal Information for training, though any such utilization will be limited by your participation in an opt-in program for participation. Forethink's use and transfer of Personal Information to and from any Third-Party Services which utilize AI will adhere to all relevant data and privacy policies and limited use agreements. Additionally, any use of Personal Information will be entirely self-contained within the Forethink application, with the exception of requests to a Third-Party Service which must be explicitly approved by the user.

Use and Disclosure of Information Received from the Google APIs

Forethink’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. As a rule, we disclose no data received via any API or source, digital or otherwise, to a Third-Party Service, excluding account management needs. Additionally, any use of the information received will be entirely self-contained within the Forethink application and any utilization will occur only on the User’s device.
